CHALLENGE

To create a product that catered to first timers who just got their periods. This product is to provide instructions and comfort to transition into womanhood. To provide simple opening and closing function of packaging. A subtle and calming design that . differentiate from the different skews and includes bilingual text for a wider audience in Canada.

SOLUTION

Cyclo is aimed for preteens and teens who are just starting their cycles and starting out using pads. There isn't a lot of brands that just cater to the needs of a first timer.  The target audience are girls age 12 to 18 as primary for those who are just starting their periods. Women age 18-30 as secondary since the pads themselves can be used by anyone. A lot of the brands usually try to cater to a wider audience by having different types of pads for all sorts of needs but Cyclo specifically targets inexperienced young people. The design is simple and calming, making sure the consumer won't get overwhelmed when getting feminine hygiene for the first time.
